Learn About Animal Hospice!

What is animal hospice and why would my animal friend and I benefit?

What does it take to give animal hospice care to my beloved animal family member?

How can the AHELP community be "A Help" to me and my family in our animal companion's end of life?

Join AHELP Project Director and grief counselor Michelle Nichols and others guests from your community for two hours of storytelling and information followed by an hour of sharing. You are welcome to come for either the information until 8:30, or just the Circle at about 8:45. Please consider bringing a support person, and animals are welcomed. Bring a bed or comfy blanket if you are concerned about the cool, though carpeted, floor. Bring a photo or memento for sharing if your friend is there with you in memory.

This is the perfect first step if you are interested in becoming an AHELPer volunteer. First, please go to our website and click on "Get Involved" to complete the short form email or call Michelle using the information below.

Please note that attendance is limited. To ensure your place at the event, please "buy a ticket" with a small donation amount between $1-20, which allows us to bring the presentation at low cost. Call or email to RSVP without a donation.

Please contact Michelle at [email protected] for more or for last minute planning. We look forward to having you as our guest.
