Engage head, heart and hands in our Creative Healing Workshop featuring Memorial Charm Pendants. Share your memories and rejoice in the life you've shared with your beloved pet while also helping others. A portion of the proceeds will support AHELP’s services to pet parents as they care for ill or elderly furry family members.
Jewelry maker and AHELP community member Ellen Chappelle of Limelight Designs will help you design and create a charm necklace while you enjoy holiday festivities and the pleasure of like-minded friends. For your ticket price, you will get supplies and instruction to make one complete pendant to warm your spirit this holiday season. These pendants also make wonderful gifts!
Diane Dyer, our Caregivers' Circle facilitator, will conclude the event with our holiday "Moment of Remembrance," a simple ceremony with an opportunity to honor the memories of your loved ones. Bring photos and mementos if you choose. Participation is optional.
As with all AHELP events, we will have light snacks and festivities to sweeten your afternoon. Polite pooches, comfy cats and cute critters invited!
