The Animal Caregiver Support Circle is a monthly gathering for those who are:

• Caregiving for an animal friend who has special needs
• Anticipating the loss of an animal companion that has been given a life-limiting diagnosis or is in declining health
• Grieving the death of an animal friend, recent or in the past

Within this confidential circle a safe, caring and supportive environment is created for you to share your journey. Information on animal hospice caregiving is offered.

The circle is facilitated by Johnnie Woods, Spiritual and Life Coach and/or Diane Dyer, spiritual counselor. 

DIRECTIONS:

From I-5 North or South, take the Mercer St. Exit. Get into the left lane coming off the exit and turn left at the light onto Fairview. Turn right at Thomas Street, proceed west to 8th Ave N. and turn left. Seattle Unity will be at the end of the block on the left where 8th Ave N “Ts” at John Street. We are on the north side of John Street across from Denny Park.

Paid parking is available on the north side of our building Monday – Saturday until 6:00 pm. For church events parking is free evenings and Sundays. Street parking is usually very available after business hours, and is free after 6 pm.

Two parking lots are within immediate walking distance-either one block north or two blocks east.

On Saturdays, Vulcan now offers $2.00 parking at 4 lots. Here’s some more details about that.

Busing it:

Seattle Unity is quite accessible by Metro bus service.

Coming from downtown Seattle, take a Metro Bus #26 deboarding at Denny Way and Dexter Avenue North, walking two blocks NE to the church.

Coming from the North, a  Southbound Metro Bus #358 comes from Aurora Village deboarding at Aurora Avenue North and Denny Way with a short walk to the church.
