Diane Dyer

Diane brings to AHELP a strong background in teaching/training, spiritual counseling, and grief support, as well as many years of living with beloved animal companions.

Since its inception Diane has been Lead Facilitator of the AHELP Project’s Animal Caregiver Support Circle, a twice monthly meeting for anyone who seeks support while caring for an ill or aging pet, or who is anticipating or experiencing a loss. She has been a speaker at AHELP Project’s events, contributing her talents to educate and support. Diane was an AHELP board member for over 4 years.

She has a long history in spiritual counseling with a BA in Spiritual Studies, and she is a licensed Spiritual Practitioner under Agape International Spiritual Center. For eight years she facilitated a pet bereavement group, the Animal Kinship Ministry, before returning tothe Northwest. Today she continues service as a Practitioner at Genesis Global Spiritual Center in Burien.

Diane is a Certified Celebrant, and her joy is writing and officiating memorial services forboth humans and beloved pets. Recognizing the value of memorializing in the healing process, Diane offers her professional services to those who wish to honor their belovedanimal companion with a Celebration of Life.
